Bilingual in Italian and English, it offers readers a wide-ranging and up-to-date overview of the world of automation, instrumentation and safety, with a special focus on the process industry and the impact of Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation. The magazine also proposes transversal themes and columns: business processes, the product life cycle, in-depth technical analysis, business consultancy, new skills, and current events: new products, trade fairs and events, life of associations, interviews with the protagonists.

In collaboration with the associations AIS, Anipla, Clusit, GFCC, ISA Italy Section; ISA EMEA District 12, Automation Technology, in an Italian-English bilingual version, offers readers a wide and up-to-date overview of the world of automation, instrumentation and safety, with a focus on the process industry and the impact of Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation.

The magazine also features cross-cutting topics and columns: business processes, the product life cycle, technical insights, business consultancy, new skills, as well as current events: new products, trade fairs and events, association life, interviews with key players.

Andrea Ferriani

Director responsible

Born in Milan in 1960, after high school he attended military school in Aosta in 1981, becoming an officer in the Alpine troops. In 1984 he started working at Editoriale Delfino. Since 2003 he has been the owner of the publishing house.

In 2016 the new magazine AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY is published for the world of measurement and automation instrumentation in collaboration with the Italian Association of Instrumentalists.

Armando Martin

Editorial Director

Scientific author, electronic engineer and industrial consultant. He is the author of 9 books dedicated to automation and
to technological innovation, including the "Dictionary of Automation - the words of innovation" finalist at the 2016 National Prize for Scientific Disclosure and "Industry 4.0, challenges and opportunities for Made in Italy", winner in 2018.

He has collaborated with the telematic universities UniNettuno and Ecampus, teaching the course 'Measurement for Automation' for the latter.
